Hi
Got the Spacenavigator for Notebooks a couple of weeks back and it was working great. Now suddenly it has stopped and I get the "Error: Could not locate an installed 3Dconnexion device."
I am on win 7 64 bit. I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling with a fresh download from the site. I tried the "start driver" in the start menu. I cannot get it to work. The blue light is on and the little sound chimes when I plug/unplug the device.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I also have the same problem: no movements on SOLIDWORKS, and the buttons have no effects to.
However, the DEMO mode is ok, my space navigator seems to work...
So I did this: https://www.3dconnexion.fr/index.php?id ... d=faq/1130
But no success...
I have uninstalled and installed 3DxWare64_v10-5-4_r2703, the problem i still there...
Please help, my device is brand new, I'm working with it for just one month.
I just posted in a new topic (awaiting moderation). I had a similar issue, was working fine, then suddenly stopped. I hadn't used it on one PC for about 2 weeks so it may be related to this issue https://www.3dconnexion.co.uk/index.php ... d=faq/1130
But, I just installed v10.4.10 driver and everything is fine for now.
Maybe I can jump into this support thread too. I've got the spacemouse pro wireless, after having upgraded from the non wireless version a couple months ago.
Both of the mice have had the same issue, usually after logging off and logging back onto my pc the following day. I get the 3DxNlServer stopped working error. After stopping and restarting the software, the mouse works for all applications except solidworks 2015. The Add-ins 3D Control object is still clicked as enabled in both checkboxes, I have the latest software version (10.5.6).
the only way I have found that works to fix this is to check and uncheck the solidworks 3D control box, then it usually starts working.
Is there not a more effective way to fix this problem so that we don't have to deal with it any more? Note that I have also tried making sure the permissions are set the same for the mouse and solidworks, which they are. Neither is running with elevated permissions (this was another fix that was suggested on the forums).
