With "Use Selected Item" (Rotation Center) mode enabled, the SpaceMouse doesn´t behave as expected anymore. In 3ds max sub-object mode, it still uses the pivot point as rotation center instead the selected vertices, edges or polygons. This makes it impossible to navigate on bigger objects.
This problem is there since one year now (including 10.6.9), the latest driver working correctly is 3DxWare 10.6.0. So we are unable to use the 2021 version of 3ds max.
Please fix this bug, because this makes it impossible for us to work with your 3D Devices. Thank you.

Re: 3ds max Rotation Center "Use Selected Item" not working correctly
Just seen this thread. Does anyone else have this issue? Rotating with mouse and keyboard rotates correctly. The 3d mouse will randomly put a rotation centre just miles away from an object.
Re: 3ds max Rotation Center "Use Selected Item" not working correctly
same thing hapens with 3dsmax2024 and also the new 3dsmax 2026 , so disapointing , I used to work fine single so many years with my space pilot pro , then the drivers were discontinued , i bought a brand new spacemouse wireless , and still the same problem with the latest drivers . what a disapointment
Re: 3ds max Rotation Center "Use Selected Item" not working correctly
Hi jadactaq
I tried to reproduce the problem but it works as correct. I am using 3DxMax 2026 and 3xWare 10.9.8.715.
For example if Vertex is enabled, pivot point sets on the selected point.
Please explain if the problems is something else.

Besides this "bug", if you select a helper object - without any geometrical data - the snap does also not work!
I reported this >6 months ago and it was already logged as a defect - but nothing happened until today.
Maybe this defect is related to the vertex selection defect - as a vertex does also not hold geometrical data..
