Re: 3D mice for scrubbing - video & audio
it is possible via xml editing to assign arrow keys to one the axis. It works fairly well, even with acceleration (the more you rotate, the faster the arrow key commands get repeated -> faster scrubbing). However, the video editing software has to be in focus, and it can even lead to problems by sen...

Re: SpacePilot (original)
when you have the device going, then everything is fine. There was no special software included.
Have you installed the driver on a modern or on an older computer?

Re: SpacePilot Screen and Mouse is not working
these computer-generated comments are everywhere.
But to the topic: you need to install the latest driver for the SpacePilot. You can find it at the 3Dconnexion discontinued devices.

I think it's a good idea. As Luping says, this may be a topic for future devices.

Re: SpaceNavigator works with AUTOCAD 2002 in Windows 32bytes
in my archives I found a 32-bit version of the official driver from 2010. I have no idea if it will work, but maybe it's worth a try.

Re: 2d only in Davinci
you can find the KeyboardTemplate.xml in Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxWinCore\Cfg Your user profiles are located at User\[username]\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg After having created the profile (the .xml file) for DaVinci Resolve (just one assigned button is sufficient) and closed...

drawing with the pen of course. Drawing with a pan would be a bit difficult.

Re: Apple iOS / iPad Pro
this would certainly be something I would like to have. Power users of Procreate can zoom in and out with their other hand while drawing with the pan, but it would be more convenient for the artist to have a device for zooming. For this alone a 3dx device would be beneficial. ZBrush for iPad is anno...

Re: Is it worth buying a space pilot pro?
I think it's a great device, served me well. Until it was burnt by a fire accident. I miss the SPP as my laptop 3D controller, now I use an old Space Navigator, which is at least something.
Driver support should be ongoing, so if I had the chance to get a Space Pilot Pro, I wouldn't hesitate.

Re: Spacemouse Enterprise Suggestion on backlighting
in my opinion, the Spacemouse Enterprise layout is such, that you feel the buttons with your finger tips. I agree, one is tempted to look first, and then push a button. But when you work with this device every day, the muscle memory gets better and better. After a year or two you don't have to look ...

Re: Where can I get complete list of the xml key codes and their keyboard keys?
I think this is called 'HID code table' what you are looking for. HID stands for Human Interface Device. This is a good resource for HID codes: https://gist.github.com/MightyPork/6da26e382a7ad91b5496ee55fdc73db2 But there are others sources, printable, as pdf. And you are right, one can expand the p...

Re: spacemouse enterprise - question about icons and text on display
I believe this is normal. Therefore we try to find short names for our commands. In this case of yours it would look like "Sensib. +" and "Sensib. -", or "S +", "S -". In the end, when working with software, we only need a short reminder what each button does,...
