Re: Rotating model in AutoCAD 2d-wireframe mode

Since you can always achieve the rotation results with your right-hand mouse for the 2D drawing in AutoCAD, and SpaceMouse is designed primarily for 3D navigation, why are you so hellbent on this idea? The intention is to use SME for 2D rotation? You clearly didn't get the gist of the SpaceMouse adv...

Re: Firestorm, Mac Big Sur 3d wireless mouse not working

Don't be so vile, no one is an island, I just provide you a way out of your bind with 3Dconnexion device on Mac OS Big Sur. Technical solution is already provided, you just lack the resolution or courage to make a step further, if this device means a lot for your work or business.

Re: Different driver versions for different software

run the old application and driver You mean both 3DsMax and the driver? I've never used a virtual machine, but it sounds like I might get some serious performance issues, especially during rendering. In my case, it would be probably better to install the new sketchup and the new driver on a virtual...

Re: SpaceMouse Enterprise Display inverted...

You don't need to look at the LCD screen during modeling with SpaceMouse Enterprise. Just press one of the 12 intelligent function keys a bit longer than the normal stroke duration and there will be on-display menus indicating the current application-wise intelligent function keys. So no need to inc...

Re: Current list of applications supported on Mac OS X

Then 3Dconnexion should clearly position itself. Mac users will know that they should buy other products rather than waiting here for support. I'm an end user mainly on Windows OS, the backward compatibility is relative good. Have you ever read the 3DCONNEXION SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT? You have t...

Re: Drivers for older and new devices (SpacePilot and CADMouse)

How about installing a virtual machine on your system, like VMWare Player or VirtualBox virtual machine. Then you can install old version 3DxWare and use it. Appreciate the response, but I'm not sure I follow the suggestion. I do have VMWare, but my desire is to use both the CADMouse and the SpaceP...

I am looking into going back to Catalina but that is not an easy thing, just for using a mouse.
Well, easy doesn't enter into grown-up life, the harder thing to do is usually the easy thing, and nothing that has meaning is easy. So just do it.

Re: 3ds Max 2020 Rotation Blur

Hey guys, another update from me- it's now 3 computers I've tried this on. 2 new desktops I've built myself. All latest drivers with max 2021. A third is a Dell XPS- all latest drivers and max 2021. All exhibit identical viewport blurring similar to mattb's screenshot below. It seems too much of a ...

Re: Current list of applications supported on Mac OS X

Pass 9 years, since the first post here, and we have Autocad, Maya, After Effects, Apple Maps, and none of then have driver for OSX. 9 years! Maya 2016 Ext 2, still no driver to use. I believe the future of Spacemouse is to appear in some Sy Fy episodes on TV, because there are all fake and they do...

Re: Enterprise - joystick sound

It's a hardware problem, you may now have to start a RMA process to replace your hardware after proper confirmation by 3Dconnexion support, if your SpaceMouse Enterprise is still under warranty.
